NFTs are a medium.

Like a CD-ROM, NFTs are a container, made valuable only by the content they carry.

Where a CD may have carried a rolling stones album, a video game, or photos from that family trip to Disneyland, NFTs can carry membership cards, in-game items, and one of their best received use cases — Art.

NFTs are the new medium for digital artists to register, trade and immortalize their work.

Since early 2018, leading digital art platform, KnownOrigin, has amassed over 5,000 unique digital artworks from a community of over 350 verified artists, totalling over 1,600 ETH in sales.

KnownOrigin is one the fastest growing Ethereum art platforms on the decentralized web.

Their prolific presence in the digital art world has led KnownOrigin to play a key role in the adoption of Non-Fungible Tokens.

At NFT.NYC 2020, CEO and Co-Founder, David Moore spoke about how KnownOrigin fosters engagement and a better user experience for their community through 1-on-1 onboarding for those new to blockchain, surveys to better understand perception of their platform and an exclusive Telegram group for approved KnownOrigin artists.

The result — An engaged community of committed artists, producing provably unique digital artworks, ready to satiate the new breed of discerning collector.

Leading up to NFT.NYC 2020, KnownOrigin put out the call for talented artists to produce limited edition, New York themed works for the event.

Sharing their wares with the world, 12 artists were selected and generously donated works exclusively to NFT.NYC 2020 attendees.

Meet the Artists and their Works

N(ft)Y 2020 by Anonymous Nobody

https://knownorigin.io/anonymous-nobody

Born as a creator, I have lived under many pseudonyms to promote various works in several different mediums including music, creative writing and poetry. As Anonymous Nobody in the non-fungible art space, I create digital art to visually stimulate, and inspire. Without being married to any one style, I blend Surrealism, Minimalism and Abstract art to create a style that is unique to me. In a nutshell, I create interesting digital scenarios.
