22 Days since #NFTNYC2022 — 111 days to London
It started in 2018, during the ICO-era when people asked “Why would I want something that’s NON-fungible?!”
We have since seen the community grow beyond expectation:
- 460 attendees has now become over 16,000
- Over 200,000+ tweets last month
- A single day, single stage event is now a whole week with 450+ satellite events
Thank you.

Updates for 2023
Thank you to all of the attendees and sponsors who provided feedback on #NFTNYC2022
More or fewer Speakers
72 attendees this year shared feedback requesting less speakers, and that we only put experienced speakers on stage.
Our first core value is to give the NFT community a voice.
We received over 3,500 Speaker Applications this year and approved 46% (ref this post)
At future events we will streamline programming to more easily navigate between the most experienced speakers and dedicated community stages focused on discovering new voices.
Navigating Sessions
Our third core value is to proselytize and share NFTs with the broader community.
This year speakers presented on 16 tracks, with talks varying in complexity.
Future programming will be focused on simple navigation of:
- Tracks that interest you
Including stages focused on the major tracks (like art and gaming) and exhibits and activations matching those tracks located in the same space. - Content that matches your level of understanding
We will also be categorizing sessions by their level of complexity, ranging from high level 101 content (for people new to the space) to advanced deep dives and workshops.
Where
We ran a poll for the community on Twitter which showed that an overwhelming 64.7% wanted NFT.NYC to stay in New York City. We were surprised how many people thought we should include the Javits Center:
What’s Next: NFT.London
NFT.NYC will return to New York in June 2023.
Approximately 30% of the community is based in UK and Europe.
We are now inviting the community to join us at our first ever NFT.London
- November 3–4, 2022
- QEII Centre, Westminster
